You might be surprised to know that those who have severe anxiety disorder frequently also suffer from <a href="http://www.severeanxiety.org/recommends.php" target="_top">anxiety depression</a>. If you look at the typical case of severe anxiety disorder, you will almost always find the person is depressed as well. The thought of suicide or hurting themselves is not such an uncommon thing, which is very sad.</p>
<p>One main concern is that people often stand by when they see family members or close friends suffering with anxiety. Really, what they need is assistance to help them get anxiety treatment, even if they are afraid. Generally, most of the time being on pills for anxiety or depression is never a popular thing. Some people need it though and are unable to cope without it. They need someone to step in to help them get treatment.</p>

<p><strong>What is Panic?</strong></p>
<p>Panic is generally determined by mental health professionals to be a chronic disorder that is characterized by a spontaneous, short-lived bout of intense fear along with physical symptoms which may include heart palpitations.<br />
It should be noted that there is a diagnosis of panic disorder, which is characterized by unexpected panic attacks. However, there are times when panic attacks happen in specific situations which are usually an indication of a variety of conditions which may include:  </p>
<ul style="list-style-type: circle;">
<li>Substance withdrawal or intoxication</li>
<li>Specific and/or Social Phobia </li>
<li>Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder</li>
<li>Depressive Disorders</li>
<li>Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder</li>
<li>Generalized Anxiety Disorder</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What is Anxiety?</strong></p>
<p>Anxiety, unlike panic, is determined by two components: physiological sensations (these include sweating, heart palpitations, and shortness of breath) and having a sense of nervous awareness or fright.<br />
Causes of anxiety may be due to general medical conditions or substance induced anxiety disorder. It should also be noted that anxiety can be caused by mixed anxiety depressive disorder.<br />
All of these anxiety issues can have similar symptoms. Some of the disabling results of anxiety can be:</p>

<p> Below are  six tips that might help you avoid the anxiety attacks.</p>
<p><strong>1: Avoid Caffeinated Beverages</strong></p>
<p>This may be easier said than done, but according to studies  the caffeine and sugar in them may increase your level of anxiety. Also, a lack  of sleep can do this as well. Avoiding caffeine may help you sleep better and  would in return help you deal with anxiety.</p>
<p><strong>2: Meditate on your breathing</strong></p>
<p>Most of the time when people start feeling an anxiety attack  brewing, they will start breathing unnaturally. They start getting worried and  begin to panic. This is one of the worst things you can do. Instead, you should  meditate on your breathing pattern. Perhaps even count and force yourself to  take deep breaths.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Panic attacks are a very misunderstood disorder. I won&#8217;t tell you that there is an easy solution for  panic attack cures in general because its not that simple. I am also saying there is an all curing panacea for panic attacks. Rather, the concept here is what action you should take when you feel one coming on to hopefully stop the progress of too much adrenaline being created in the body which results in the panic attack.  This will hopefully help you to avoid the painful and embarrassing situations  you may have already experienced.</p>
<p>First, we must understand that adrenaline is needed in our  life. In fact, doctors say that it is a life saving mechanism in many cases. If  you are in a car wreck or have been through a violent attack, the adrenaline  may save your life. So, this bears worth repeating, the adrenaline itself is  not the problem that you need to stop, but rather how much and when it is being  produced by your body.</p>
<p>We also should be aware that there can be other causes for  panic attacks. It could be caused by some form of phobia. If you do believe you  have a phobia of something that is causing your anxiety problem, you should  seek professional help. Begin to run your mind  through what happened on the last episode. If you enjoy a sport start running  your favorite teams last game through your head. Anything to focus on something  other than your panic attack is a good step. You should continue to take deep  breaths. If you simply cannot get your train of thought off of the panic attack  itself, simply think of it from a positive manner. Running statements like &ldquo;I  am not going to die from this, this is just a small panic attack and I am a  very healthy person&rdquo; may also help.</p>
